Terms of Service

Effective date: 2026-04-28 · Version 1.0

These Terms govern your use of ShipMCP (the “Service”), operated by MR Dula Enterprise, LLC (“ShipMCP,” “we,” or “us”). By creating an account, by paying for a subscription, or by otherwise accessing the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Service

ShipMCP provides a managed Model Context Protocol (MCP) platform. You can upload files (CSV, JSON, SQL dumps, Excel, Markdown, PDF, DOCX, audio, and other supported formats), paste URLs for live web extraction, or append data to existing endpoints. We provision an isolated Postgres database, introspect its schema, auto-generate read tools (and write tools on Pro+ tier), publish a public llms.txt manifest, and serve a JSON-RPC over HTTP MCP endpoint at mcp.shipmcp.io/<your-slug>/mcp. Connection happens via static bearer tokens or the standard OAuth 2.0 + Dynamic Client Registration flow on shipmcp.io.

2. Accounts and authentication

You create an account with an email and password, or sign in via a one-time magic link. You must provide accurate information and are responsible for keeping your credentials, sessions, API tokens, and OAuth-issued tokens secure. You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA) to create an account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account or against any endpoint you own.

API tokens and OAuth-issued tokens are stored only as SHA-256 hashes — even we cannot read your raw token. Lost a token? Rotate it from the dashboard.

3. Plans, payments, and billing

  • Free, Pro, Scale, and Enterprise plans are described at /pricing.
  • Paid plans are billed monthly via Dodo Payments, our Merchant of Record. Dodo collects and remits VAT, GST, and sales tax across 150+ jurisdictions on our behalf — you don't need to register or remit.
  • Storage above your plan's included quota is metered at $2 per GB per month and billed at the end of the cycle.
  • We may change pricing with at least 14 days' notice via the dashboard and by email to account owners. Existing billing cycles are honored at the prior price.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. Cancel from the billing page; you keep access through the end of the current cycle, then drop to the free tier (or your endpoints are archived if you exceed free-tier limits).
  • Refunds are not standard but available in good faith on a case-by-case basis — email matt@mrdula.solutions within 30 days.
  • You are responsible for any taxes that may apply to your use of the Service in your jurisdiction beyond what Dodo collects.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Upload or expose content you do not have the right to upload, including content that infringes intellectual property, defames others, or violates privacy laws.
  • Upload, store, or process payment card data, government identifiers, protected health information, or other regulated data unless you have a separate written agreement with us covering it.
  • Use the Service to harass, dox, or surveil anyone, or to generate, distribute, or store CSAM.
  • Attempt to compromise the Service, other tenants, or the underlying infrastructure (including denial-of-service, probing, prompt-injection at our infrastructure, or attempting to escape your tenant boundary).
  • Resell raw access to the Service without prior written permission. Building products on top of the Service is fine and encouraged — that's the whole point.
  • Use the Service to ingest data you have not been authorized to scrape, or to violate any target site's terms of service via the URL extraction or crawl features.

We may suspend or terminate accounts (or specific endpoints) that violate these rules. For severe abuse (CSAM, ongoing infrastructure attacks, sanctions violations) we may do so without prior notice.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of every file you upload, every URL you ingest, every row you (or your agents) write, and every endpoint you provision. You grant ShipMCP a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, process, transmit, and display that content solely as needed to operate the Service for you — including running ingest pipelines, generating MCP tools, serving JSON-RPC responses to authenticated agents, and publishing your endpoint's llms.txt at the public well-known paths you control.

We do not train models on customer content. We do not share customer content with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Agent access and write scope

You can grant connected agents (Claude.ai, Cursor, custom MCP clients) read-only access (mcp scope) or, on Pro+ endpoints with the “Allow agent writes” toggle on, read + write access (mcp:write scope). Granting an OAuth scope is your decision and your responsibility — agents you authorize can call any tool the granted scope covers, including creating and deleting rows on your behalf when mcp:write is granted. Every write is logged to your audit trail.

7. Availability and changes

ShipMCP is provided on an as-available basis. We monitor uptime and respond to incidents but do not currently offer a contractual SLA outside Enterprise agreements. We may add, change, or remove features over time. We will give reasonable notice before removing a feature you actively rely on.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from the settings page. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, for non-payment, or to comply with law. On termination, we hard-delete your endpoints, files, audit log, and account data within 30 days, retaining only payment records as required by law.

9. Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. ShipMCP does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure against every possible attack. AI agents acting on data you authorize them to access are not deterministic, and we make no warranty about the correctness or fitness of their outputs.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShipMCP and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues. Our total cumulative liability will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim and (b) US$100.

11. Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ShipMCP from any third-party claim arising out of (i) your content or the data you ingest, (ii) your violation of these Terms, (iii) your violation of applicable law, or (iv) actions taken by agents you authorized via OAuth scope.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wake County, North Carolina, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in advance via the dashboard and by email to account owners. Continued use after the effective date of a new version constitutes acceptance.
